Important event information for the Mother's Day Running & Multi-Sport Festival, May 9, 2009
| TIME: | FOOTRACES: 10:30 a.m. Packet pickup starts at 8:45 a.m. and goes until 10:15 a.m.
TRI/DU: 2:00 p.m. Packet pickup starts at 12:45 p.m. and goes until 1:45 p.m. KIDS: 3:45 p.m.

| DISTANCE: | FOOTRACES: 26.2, 13.1, 10, 6.2, 3.1, & 1 mile
TRIATHLON: 250 meter swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run DUATHLON: 2 mile run, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run KIDS: 25 yard swim or wade, 3/4 mile bike, 1/4 mile run.

| COURSE: | FOOTRACES: The marathon, half-marathon are out and back with a few very small inclines with aide stations (water, gatorade and gel/bananas etc. The course is 90 percent flat and great for beginners and veterans. The 10 mile, 10K, 5K and 1 mile are also out and ba
ck all flat with aide stations.
TRI/DU: SWIM, Out and back along a buoy line in a small man-made lake. Wetsuits are highly recommended but not required. Water temps will be chilly around 60 degrees. BIKE: Out and back mostly flat the no big hills or dangerous turns. RUN: Out and back all flat wit h aide stations. KIDS: All in the park on paved trails. Individuals or 2/3 person teams in the triathlon or duathlon.

| AGE GROUPS: | 0-5, 6-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 up. Also team divisions of male, female and mixed.

| ENTRY FEES: | See entry form. Online sign up at www.signmeup.com/64354 for the footraces and
www.signmeup.com/64353 for the triathlon, duathlon and the kids mini-tri.

| AWARDS: | Top 10 overall in the marathon and the half, both male and female will receive trophies. ALL MARATHON FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE NECK MEDALS!!!! Top 3 in 5 year age groups in the half-marathon will receive neck medals. Overall winners of all other running races will
receive trophies. Top 3 in 5 year age groups will also receive neck medals. NOTE: If you don't receive an age group award you will receive a finisher medal.
ONE AWARD PER RUNNER. Top 7 overall in the triathlon, both male and female will receive trophies. Top 3 in 5 year age groups will receive ne ck medals. Top 3 overall in the duathlon will receive trophies and neck medals for the rest. KIDS: All finishers will receive a neck medal. Also 2/3 team divisions of male, female and mixed.

| T-SHIRTS: | All entrants will receive a designer short sleeve mother's day shirt unless the no shirt box is checked. You can also order an extra short sleeve shirt, tank top, longsleeve shirt or sweatshirt. You can also upgrade to a tank top, longsleeve shirt or a sweatshi
rt. All garments are 100 percent cotton and are preshrunk. Sizes are Adult small, medium, large, XL and 2XL. Children, small, medium, large and extra-large.

| DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: | From the north take I-5 south to Olympia take hwy 101 north, and turn left towards the ocean beaches. Follow to Elma and turn left over the freeway. Turn right on Wenzelslough road and follow to park on the right side.
From the south take I-5 north to exit 88B and go west on hwy 12, follow to Elma and turn left onto hwy 8. Take the first exit and go left over the freeway. Turn right on Wenzelslough road and follow a 1/2 mile to the park on the right.

| OTHER INFO: | 7TH Annual celebration of mom with lots of postrace food and drink. There will be ham, turkey and cheese sandwiches along with cookies, donuts, chips, fruit and veggies. There will also be bottled water and soda to drink after the event. Results will be poste
