Important event information for the Memorial Day Triathlon/Duathlon, Kids Mini-tri and Footraces, May 26, 2008
| TIME: | Adults: 11:00 a.m. Kids mini-tri: 12:45 p.m. Packet pick up starts at 9:45 a.m. and goes until 10:45 a.m.

| DISTANCE: | TRI; 250 meter swim, 13 mile bike, 3 mile run DU: 2 mile run, 13 mile bike, 2 mile run KIDS MINI-TRI: 25 yard swim or wade, 3/4 mile bike, 1/4 mile run FOOTRACES: 15K ( 9.3 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.1 miles), 1 mile & kids dash.

| COURSE: | SWIM: Out and back along a buoy line in a small man made lake, water temperature around 60-65. Wetsuits are recommend but not required. BIKE: Out and back all flat on paved, scenic country road with a few turns. RUN: Out and back all flat with aide stations. KIDS
RACE: All flat inside the park. Course is perfect for beginners or veterans.

| AGE GROUPS: | 0-5, 6-10, 11-4, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 up. Also team divisions of male, female and mixed.

| AWARDS: | Top 7 overall in the triathlon both male and female will receive trophies. Top 3 in 5 year age groups will receive neck medals. Top 3 overall in the duathlon both male and female will receive trophies and top 3 in 5 year age groups will receive neck medals. All k
ids in the mini-tri will receive medals. Top male and female overall in the footraces will receive trophies. Top 3 in 5 year age groups will receive neck medals.

| T-SHIRTS: | All entrants will receive a designer short sleeve shirt unless the no t-shirt option is checked. Garments are 100 percent cotton and are preshrunk. You can order an extra short sleeve shirt, tank top or long sleeve shirt. You can also upgrade to a tank top or l
ong sleeve shirt. Sizes are small, medium, large, XL.

| DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: | From I-5 northbound take Exit 88B and go west on Hwy 12. Follow to Elma and go left on Hwy 8, take the first exit and go left over the freeway. Turn right on Wenzelslough road, park is 1/4 up on the right. Southbound on I-5, take Hwy 101 north and f
ollow to hwy 8. Head west towards the ocean and take the second Elma exit. Go left over the freeway and turn right on Wenzelslough road. Park is 1/4 on the right.

| OTHER INFO: | 10th annual Memorial day celebration with lots of postrace food and quality awards. There will will be ham, turkey and roast beef sandwiches with cheese, along with fruit, veggies, and lots of other goodies. There will also be cold bottled water, soda and sports drinks.
